OpenReady, Inc. ("OpenReady," "we," "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use our website, mobile applications, and related services (the "Services"), how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly — including your name, email, business type, business address, and any documents you upload to your document center. We also collect limited technical data such as device type, operating system, IP address, and crash logs to improve reliability.

2. How we use information

We use your information to generate your permit roadmap, send deadline reminders you have opted into, provide customer support, secure and improve the Services, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.

3. Sharing

We share information only with service providers acting on our behalf (hosting, analytics, customer support), when required by law, or when you direct us to share it — for example, when exporting a PDF to your contractor or attorney. We do not share your data with any government body without your explicit action.

4. Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion at any time by emailing privacy@openready.app.

5. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your data, and to opt out of certain processing. Contact privacy@openready.app to exercise these rights.

6. Security

We use industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure; we work to protect your data but cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children

The Services are not intended for children under 16.

8. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the app and on this page.
