These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of OpenReady's website and mobile applications (the "Services"). By using the Services you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Services.

2. Not legal advice

OpenReady is an informational tool. It does not provide legal, zoning, engineering, architectural, or accounting advice, and using the Services does not create an attorney-client, agent, or professional relationship. Always verify requirements with the issuing authority and consult a licensed professional for advice specific to your situation.

3. Accuracy

Government requirements change. Every item in the app carries a confidence label and a last-checked date. You are responsible for confirming current requirements before acting on them.

4. Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide and for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

5. Subscriptions and billing

Paid subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You can cancel at any time from the app or app store; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Services, including by reverse engineering, scraping, reselling access, or interfering with operation. You will not use the Services to violate any law.

7. Intellectual property

The Services, including all text, graphics, and software, are owned by OpenReady or its licensors. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use the Services for their intended purpose.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OPENREADY WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Essex County, New Jersey.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. If we make material changes, we will notify you in the app or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
